Polo School Days

A Quechua School Day

At the end of the school year, a class from the Kepler school in Graz visited our polo school in Kumberg. Among the 15 kids had also been some with special educational needs.

After a guided tour through the stablings of the polo school and a presentation of the individual horses (short information about age, color, origin and characteristics), the kids were allowed to help mucking out the boxes and feeding the horses. Afterwards, two of the beloved ponies got cleaned and the correct behavior about the handling of horses was demonstrated and practiced. After that the horses were saddled and bridled. A short horse riding session completed an unforgettable and exciting day at our polo school. The day had been a huge success, the kids and the ponies were happy!

School Classes, Students and Companies – Welcome at our polo school!

This school day at our polo school can be seen as the beginning of our aim to bring kids and students as well as companies to our polo school for enjoying a wonderful day with our horses. We are of the the opinion that horses are very good partners for all generations to learn about responsibility and about the right behaviour with animals and the environment.
