From January 19th to 22nd, Seefeld had been host for an event of the 2017 PIPA Snow Polo World Cup Tour. Four teams with international top polo players from nations like Argentine, England, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany and Austria matched for the Seefeld-title. Among them where two players from the A Quechua Poloschool at Graz, Austria. Edith Kelz and Ingeborg Keeling did a great job at the PIPA Snow Polo World Cup. Beside their great teamplay, they also scored some goals, Ingeborg Keeling even decided the game against Germany with her goal!
Due to the bigger size of the field at the Snow Polo Arena Seefeld Reith, PIPA decided to play a Grand Slam tournament (=3 players per team). Having for teams from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary, two games were played each day with every team facing each other before more than thousand spectators on all gamedays.(?)
