PIPA goes Mexico
New year – new destinations. This could be the slogan of the Polo Instructors and Players Association, PIPA. After polo trips to Italy, Chile and Argentine in 2015, this years destinations will be Spain, Mexico, South Africa and others.
The eleven days trip will take the polo players to the exclusive spot of Costa Careyes private estate, located on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The spot is known for it’s beautiful landscape as well as for the luxury accomondations. The journey is planned for 8 – 10 polo players but also 8 – 10 non polo players can join the trip. All playing levels are welcome as Katriona Shrives from AdAstra states: „They can be beginners or advanced we’ll split the group up accordingly.“ The chukkers and training sessions will be held by PIPA trainer and president Dr. Uwe Seebacher, what guarantees training after latest technical and methodolical standards in global polo and best horsemanship.
The local polo club offers two grass polo fields and stablings for 150 horses. Inaugurated in 1990, it has been venue for many international games like the FIP play offs or the Ambassador Cup.
In between the chukkers there will be enough time to relax, spa and wellness as well as for other activities like yoga, golf, tennis or snorkeling.
AdAstra is an adventure travel agency, based in London. Beside many other journeys, AdAstra started offering polo trips too, in cooperation with PIPA as Dr. Seebacher states: „We are delighted about this partnership as together with our A Quechua Travel department we can now handle the increasing number of requests and bookings! Polo and travel is an essential segment for playing and training polo as we get the entire polo community linked up!”
There are still some booking slots available. If you are interested, hurry up, the journey is expected to be booked up soon.
