Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 – what seemed to be a usual day at the ending of summer has become one of the greatest days in Austrian polo history! On this day, the 1st Austrian Polo Pony was born at our Poloclub and School at Kumberg/Graz, Austria. The little guy is in good health and already a star at our poloclub.

Waiting has come to an end – the PIPA Snow Polo World Cup Tour 2017 starts with the Seefeld-tournament next Thursday! From January 20th to 22nd the Tyrolean Olympic region will see international top snow polo at the Snow Polo Arena Seefeld/Reith. PIPA Snow Polo World Cup Seefeld Action

From January 19th to 22nd, Seefeld had been host for an event of the 2017 PIPA Snow Polo World Cup Tour. Four teams with international top polo players from nations like Argentine, England, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany and Austria matched for the Seefeld-title. To escape from the cold and foggy Austrian winter, a delegation of the Austrian Polo Ladies National Team travelled to Chile and Argentina. Guided by PIPA president Dr. Uwe Seebacher, the Polo Ladies played and practised with the Chilenian National Team.

The snow is gone, it’s time for the grass, beach and arena polo season! We already started last weekend with two beginners who were testing our poloschool at Kumberg/Graz for the new issue of the PIPA Seasonal Magazine.In addition to the great news of the Polo Instructors & Players Association launching a new issue soon, we sum up all important dates and information regarding (A Quechua) polo for you in this post. You will find the first dates and courses of the polo season, information about the kids and youth summer camp, about our media analysis and why we are on the Spring Fair at Graz 2017.

Horse Blessing On December 26th at Kumberg/Graz!

Horse Blessing A Quechua Polo Poloclub Graz Austria

Right after Christmas, on December 26th, A Quechua Poloclub invites for a horse blessing at Kumberg/Graz, Austria. Beside the lovely polo ponys of the poloclub and -school, also non polo players and riders can bring their horses to get them blessed by the pastor. The poloclub offers music, snacks and drinks for all guests. In addition, the first 10 persons get an A Quechua (Link Intern) Christmas package and kids can ride on the polo ponys.

PIPA launches “Ladies on Snow”

As part of the global roll out of the PIPA Polo World Series, in 2016 the first pilot event for the PIPA Ladies Polo World Cup on Snow is taking place at the Gastein Snow Arena from February 19 – 21. The field will be 30 x 70 meters. During the next weeks the Executive Board will decide about the number of players per team (2 or 3).
