The traditional image of polo is the game being played on a large grass field up to 274 by 146 meters. The wide space leads to a highly dynamic game in which the ponies are racing over the field. The high speed makes it a thrilling game for experiences polo players but presents a potential risk for unexperienced players and their ponies.
Our approach is to get new players started on more limited and therefore more manageable arena fields which minimize the risk of injuries. Also it gives the new players the opportunity to have more contact with the ball due to the smaller size of the field and the reduced number of players. (It is 4:4 players in grass polo and 2:2 or 3:3 players in arena polo.)
We offer grass polo academies both for beginners (taking into account their status of experience) and advanced players.
