What a great weekend! We welcomed 15 new Polistas from Styrian Universities for the USI Polo Beginners Course on Saturday and Sunday. All of them were doing pretty well so that we could already play some Chukker on Sunday. All in all, you can say that all students passed the course with Summa Cum Laude. At the first weekend in May we held the A Quechua Spring Cup for the first time at our Poloclub and Poloschool at Kumberg near Graz, Austria. Three teams participated and competed for the title. A Quechua CEO and PIPA President Dr. Uwe Seebacher was specially pleased that many of the players were ‘young guns’ under the age of 18 years, who played their first ever tournament. Most people know this system from the gym: You pay a monthly rate and can go there and train as often as you want. Now, we adapted this modell for our poloclub and poloschool at Kumberg/Graz, Austria.
Extremely cold temperatures, much snow: For many, the late arriving of winter in Austria was a nightmare. For us at A Quechua, it has been a blessing: Snow Polo was played during the entire weekend. Polo, Friends and much Fun – that is what our poloclub and -school is all about! Let’s play polo 2018! Today we launched our 2018 Polo-Schedule with all dates for polo courses, polo tryout-days and other polo events at A Quechua Poloclub Kumberg/Graz this year. We already started the polo season at our poloclub. Due to the good weather conditions, we could play some Chukkers on the last two weekends with many friends and polistas.

On December 26th, we invited for a horse blessing at our poloclub at Kumberg/Graz, Austria. Many people followed the invitation and spent an amazing afternoon with pony riding, music, snacks and drinks. Polo-program for 2018 is coming soon!

Right after Christmas, on December 26th, A Quechua Poloclub invites for a horse blessing at Kumberg/Graz, Austria. Beside the lovely polo ponys of the poloclub and -school, also non polo players and riders can bring their horses to get them blessed by the pastor. The poloclub offers music, snacks and drinks for all guests. In addition, the first 10 persons get an A Quechua (Link Intern) Christmas package and kids can ride on the polo ponys.
